Protecting, Preparing and Responding: the International Committee of the Blue Shield
Founded in 1996 to protect the world's cultural heritage threatened by wars and natural disasters, the ICBS has been described as the "Cultural Red Cross". Four of its founding members, recipients of the 2012 IIC Advocate Award, talk about the Committee’s formation and evolution, as well as the future challenges that the ICBS faces.
