The Grimwade Centre is a University of Melbourne Research Centre hosted by the Faculty of Arts. The Faculty welcomes applications for the role of Lecturer in Cultural Materials Conservation. The successful applicant will be expected to research and teach at a level commensurate with a Level B lecturer. The area of specialization is conservation treatment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the capacity to complement the Grimwade Centre's research objectives and support its teaching program. In addition to the core research and teaching activities, the incumbent will engage in leadership and service within the research centre and be supported to achieve success by the School, Faculty and University.

The Lecturer will contribute to teaching at postgraduate levels and undertake research or engage in professional activities appropriate to their profession or discipline. Associated administrative duties will be required. The Lecturer will have experience in research, which has resulted in the publication of high-quality outputs or other demonstrated scholarly activities. The Lecturer may supervise postgraduate research students or projects and be involved in research training.
