Call for Participation in the 2024 "Mistakes" Session

"Cooking is one failure after another-that's how you learn." -Julia Child
Yes, it's that time again! Please join us for "A Failure Shared is Not a Failure: Learning from Our Mistakes", our seventh annual "Mistakes" event. It will be held at the end of the AIC Annual meeting at 4 pm on Friday, May 24th. This session will take place both in-person in Salt Lake City and virtually. It's always hilarious, sad, fun, challenging, sobering, and reassuring all at once! Plus, there will be a cash bar!
We are still seeking participants! Please submit a 2-3 sentence summary of your proposed topic to Tony Sigel ( and Kari Rayner ( Presentations should be no longer than 8 minutes; images or PowerPoints are welcome but not required. If you are attending the meeting virtually but would like to present, we still encourage you to participate and will pre-record your talk on Zoom.
The presentations will be live streamed and recorded. We will subsequently post the recording on AIC's YouTube channel, although we will subtract talks contributed by presenters with privacy concerns or permissions issues. Take a look at the recordings from the 2020, 2021, and 2022 virtual sessions and check out our resources related to the topic on AIC's Learning Community.
Please join us at the podium to tell us your tale! If not, please plan to attend this great event live or online, and raise a glass with us.
