IIC Turin Congress: free registration for Students to observe the congress sessions

User menu

Full Student registrations to the 2018 Turin Congress are now closed, but thanks to the great generosity of CCR, we are delighted to be able to offer students the opportunity to observe the full congress sessions for free - at CCR’s own auditorium. CCR, one of the lead partners of the Congress, is the Centro per la Conservazione e il Restauro dei Beni Culturali “La Venaria Reale” and is based at the spectacular royal palace of the Venaria Reale, based in the town of Venaria Reale, located about 8 kilometres (5 miles) north west of Turin (and the Palace is already part of the Congress for our tours and Grand Dinner)

The main auditorium at CCR can take up to 150 applicants and will have a live direct video and audio link from the full congress sessions throughout the week to allow participants at CCR to observe the sessions. CCR at the Venaria Reale is easily accessible from the centre of Turin as well as from Turin airport. There are plenty of facilities for students at CCR including a cafeteria and the town of Venaria Reale offers a range of bars and restaurants too.

Students will also be able to book for the tours of CCR that are being arranged for the Wednesday afternoon and students can also book and pay for attendance at the Congress Dinner on the Wednesday.

Places at CCR are limited but we very much hope that you will be able to take up this wonderful offer to be part of the IIC Congress in September. Please email the IIC at office@iiconservation.org

We look forward to seeing you there!
