PAINTINGS GROUP TALK -
Dennis Lee will give a talk titled ‘Who’s afraid of legal contracts?’
Following on from Dennis’s popular and accessible talk last year on copyright for conservators, he will now give a basic guide to the benefits and protections afforded by trading with legal contracts and terms and conditions. The talk will also cover the pitfalls of not being protected by legal agreements and how they might be used and brought to a client’s attention.
Dennis Lee is a partner and head of intellectual property at the Westminster-based law firm Bircham Dyson Bell LLP. He has extensive experience in advising commercial and individual clients in the creative, media, entertainment, cultural heritage, retail, fashion, IT and leisure industries on various aspects of intellectual property, commercial and corporate law, both from a contentious and non-contentious perspective. Dennis has been rated by Chambers and Partners as a leader in the field of intellectual property law.
