Call for Papers
The international conference "Picta Fragmenta. Rereading Vesuvian Painting", to be held at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, Italy,
With a focus on the critical rereading of wall painting in the Vesuvian region, the conference aims to offer an opportunity for researchers and professionals to meet and exchange information through presentations on best practices, reviews of past research, and new research. This interdisciplinary framework will contribute to the knowledge of art-historical investigation, archaeometry and archaeography, conservation, and communication.
Oral presentations and posters will be accepted on the following themes:
Archaeometries and archaeology of production;
Conservation and enhancement;
Publications and communication.

Proposals should be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than March 28th 2018.
Each proposal, to be submitted in .doc or .docx format, must be accompanied by a brief abstract (maximum length 1200 characters) and a representative image of the contents of the proposal, which can be used in the conference program.
Submissions will be accepted in Italian, English, French, German and Spanish.
Evaluation and selection of proposals will be made by the Scientific Committee.
Results will be announced by April 28, 2018.
All contributions accepted will be published in the Proceedings.
