Most of us have by now heard the infamous tale of the Banksy artwork which sold at a Sotheby’s (London) auction for over £1 million this past October; upon the final fall of the gavel, the artwork immediately self-destructed, shredding half the canvas before the eyes of all in attendance as well as those watching around the world (page 3).
