The program for the Congress has now been published. This international and versatile programme of preservation and conservation of cultural heritage will contain 30 presentations covering: Textiles, Interiors, Exteriors, Buildings, Art, Objects and Collections. There will be something new and interesting for everyone during the three-day programme.
Key Speakers from ICCROM and IIC will open and close the Congress. In between we have experts from different fields talking about various aspects of cultural heritage values. See the whole program here: http://www.konservaattoriliitto.fi/index.php?option=com_content&view=art...
Excursions will take place on Thursday afternoon to different sized monumental attractions situated in and around the Helsinki city centre including, for example, the Presidential Palace and the on-going project at the National Library of Finland.
The Congress venue is the National Museum of Finland and the Congress language is English.
The Welcome reception/evening party will take place at Hakasalmi Villa where we get to dance to the beats of the Music! exhibition by the Helsinki City Museum. Get out your dancing shoes!
