Abstract:

An annotated bibliography on polychromed sculpture comprising almost 300 entries. The articles and books are divided into the following categories: historical and technical aspects of the creative process, e.g. workshops, contracts, materials, tools, polychromy, etc. and restoration of polychromed sculptures. The latter group includes general contributions and reports or notes on particular restorations.
