Renew your IIC membership now ...

IIC Membership renewals are now available at the top right-hand corner of the front page of the web-site ( Your IIC membership for 2012/2013 runs from 1st July 2012 to the 30th June 2013).

Members of IIC signify that they are in full agreement with and will abide by the Articles of Association and Memorandum of Association of IIC.

Changes to your account page
Members who renew and new members will notice that the "account" page has been modified and improved. You will see these changes:

  • the account page has been simplified. There is now one email address and one postal address for all communications to you from IIC. Please make sure that all your details (postal, telephonic and e-mail)are up to date.
  • there is an option to choose the conservation field (domain) that you are working in. Please take some time to choose your domain. This will then be visible in the members list. This is a first step for making enhanced connections between members on the IIC website and will open communication paths by associating members with expertise. If you the membership find this useful we will expand on the type of information that can be associated with your accounts.
  • institutional members are now allowed to identify three accounts from the IIC website as "dependent accounts". These accounts should belong to staff members of your organisation. This means that you no longer have to deal with the whole organisation's requests from the IIC website and that your members of staff will be able to use the IIC website through their own account.

As always these features have been tested prior to implementation but we ask the members to be alert for possible unexpected behaviour of the various online tools and notify us. Your feedback on the website is always welcome (please use the general contact page for this: ).
