Work is carried out flexibly as the website requires regular daily check-ins. Remote working.

The Touring Exhibitions Group Executive Committee is the main ‘engine’ for TEG’s work, powering all its activities. The TEG Website Co-ordinator is pivotal to this group, ensuring the smooth-running of all aspects of the TEG website, supporting the group’s knowledge and understanding of the functionality and usage of the website through analysing web data, generating reports and keeping detailed records. The role requires liaison between the Executive Committee, TEG web developers and web hosts to address any issues with the website or areas for development. An emerging strand of the role is to develop the active role of the website in TEG’s marketing and communications. TEG is a decentralised organisation with no single location, as such this role is vital in supporting TEG’s members and the organisation’s public image.

We are looking for a flexible and organised administrator with proven experience of website management, and ideally experience of working with the museum and gallery sector. This part time freelance post works closely with TEG’s Secretariat and reports to TEG’s Vice-Chair, ensuring the regular maintenance of the website and quick resolution of any issues that may arise. The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and communication skills and pay close attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is motivated and excited by the opportunity to contribute to a small, dynamic organisation which is ambitious and continuing to evolve.
