The GCI Professional Fellowship program is designed to provide unique formative experiences to conservation professionals at an early phase of their careers. Professional Fellows, who have no more than three years of experience beyond academic training, join team members on established projects within the Buildings and Sites, Collections, and Science departments. As members of these teams, Fellows gain additional research and work experience over a three-year period under the guidance of more experienced senior staff members. Professional Fellows contribute to project publications and take part in conferences and meetings to enhance their professional growth.
There are three Professional Fellowships for the 2022–2025 cycle, each with a distinct area of specialization.
