The Conservator will work within a team to enhance the longevity, stability and accessibility of collection items for the Otago community and further afield. The successful applicant will have the knowledge, qualifications, and experience to carry out conservation and collection care activities across organic and inorganic materials according to the highest professional standards and practices.
Experience of working with textile or natural history collections would be advantageous as would some experience with archaeological conservation work, but not essential.
