IGIIC Conference - Wood as a primary and secondary material

The 7th day of Study on the Contemporary aims to focus on the conservation problems of artworks made from wood and its derivates, both as an expressive material and as a support. Manufacturing techniques, additives and adhesives, as well as assemblies with all kinds of materials, affect degradation processes and, consequently, the state of conservation of manufactured products.
