Submitted by Marina Herriges on 13 Nov 2024
Sustainability in Conservation Italia, in collaboration with IGIIC and with the support of CoRes, organizes a first official event at the National Museum of Medieval and Modern Art in Arezzo, in agreement with the Regional Directorate of National Museums of Tuscany.
The main objective of this Day will be to actively contribute to the debate already underway in Italy on the green transition in the field of conservation, so as to promote a broader and more consistent vision of sustainability, which can include the essential components of an economic, social and environmental nature.
The Day will focus on four macro-themes of widespread interest, chosen by the Scientific Committee and also emerging from open access publications that will be provided in Italian to the participants. These include: Materials and Waste Management, Energy Saving, Green Chemistry and Social Sustainability.
The contributions of the speakers, coming from different disciplinary areas, have been selected to provide a diverse overview, given the complexity and breadth of the topics covered, so as to promote the sharing of ideas, action plans and values among professionals in the sector.
