Listen in 20+ languages as we use new AI translation technology

We are delighted to be among the first in the cultural sector to use new AI translation technology for a major Congress. We are working alongside a new technology partner, Wordly, to extend our capabilities and offer real time translation into 20+ languages for the online hub sessions, which should allow a much wider participation, whatever your first language. It might not be a perfect translation but we are learning and testing the technology as we go. We hope this will become a new standard for all future IIC events.

Please spread the word - FREE Congress places for colleagues in Band 2 - 4 countries

With generous support from our sponsors and funders, we are very pleased to be able to offer full FREE access to the IIC Wellington Congress online, including dedicated live hub sessions by region, to all conservators and conservation professionals located and working in UNESCO defined Band 2 - 4 countries. The full list of eligible countries is here, - but essentially if you are in an emerging economy yourself, or know someone who is who would benefit from a Congress place, register for a free funded place here.

We are very keen to make the most of this funding, and ensure that the barriers to attendance are as low as possible, helping us to build a more representative profession for the future. Please do pass this on across your networks or to individual colleagues who could benefit.

Attendance online is FREE for ALL IIC members, so if you haven't already please renew or join IIC by the 31 August 2022, and we will automatically reserve you a place online.
