We are pleased to announce that our full Congress brochure is published, ahead of IIC's hybrid Wellington Congress, taking place beamed live from New Zealand and online from 5 - 9 September 2022.

With a programme distributed across time zones, we offer:

  • an extensive technical programme,
  • voting and a deeper look at our Keck Awards 2022 on a global group of projects,
  • our Forbes Prize Lecture given by Maori Paper Conservator Vicki-Anne Heikell, MNZM.
  • Virtual Tours, bringing a flavour of conservation in New Zealand to wherever you are in the world,
  • and Regional Hubs (attend in your own time zone or choose any across the world) with AI translation in 20+ languagues, lowering the barriers to communication in a way that is groundbreaking for the cultural sector.

The Congress website, presentations, tours and Studies in Conservation  Congress proceedings will all be available for 12 months to all Congress participants.

Our full programme is free to IIC members, who will automatically receive their login to our state of the art Congress site on Friday 2 September. There are a couple of days left to sign up for membership here - or contact Ellie at iic@iiconservation.org if you need any help or have questions.

Funded attendance opportunities for emerging economies

Through generous sponsorship, we are also able to offer some free funded places for those from Band 2 - 4 UNESCO countries, or emerging economies - do pass this opportunity on to colleagues and ask them to apply here before Friday 2 September for full access to all parts of Congress.

Thanks to our Congress sponsors and partners

A particular thanks to our Congress sponsors and partners - including headline sponsors Tru Vue, and the Getty Foundation for its support of our inaugural IIC Congress Scholars programme. Read more here.
