As is evident in this issue of "News in Conservation", many in our professional community are questioning our norms in conservation education, equity, ethics, public engagement, and even our treatment decision-making process. Clearly IIC had an ear to the ground and a hand on the heartbeat of our profession when deciding to build a congress around the idea of change.
