Attention all students!
Do you have any book recommendations? Would you like to write for NiC? We are looking for five current students to review conservation texts for News in Conservation.
With the following questions in mind, we’d like you to think about:
-What is a text that you would highly recommend to your peers?
-How did this book contribute to your educational experience?
-What did you find most challenging/stimulating in the text?
-Why would you recommend to others?
Some examples of “Must Have” conservation publications include (but are certainly not limited to):
~ Painting Materials: A short encyclopaedia, by Rutherford Gettens & George Stout (Dover Publishing)
~ Materials in the Service of Man, by Arthur Street and William Alexander (Pengiun UK)
~ Caring for your Pictures, by George Stout (Colombia University Press)
~ Theory of Restoration, by Teoria del Restauro (Instituto Centrale per il Restauro/Nardini Editore)

We look forward to hearing from you!
