New Training Programme 2023 - Emerging Skills for Heritage Conservation

How leadership, strategy and networking operate on preventive conservation will be the theme of this course - from risk management to contextual analysis, from creating awareness to documentation and communication activities.  It aims to inspire tomorrow’s decision-makers - helping you to to operate with an open mind, and strengthen the personal skills and networks essential for a successful career. IIC is delighted to be a partner in the next edition of YPF's Emerging Skills in Heritage Conservation programme, hosted by the Centro Conservazione e Restauro La Venaria together with the most prestigious international organizations for the preservation of cultural heritage globally.

IIC Student and Early Career members will benefit from a special discount on registration to take part in the training programme and Forum. These groups are entitled to 25% discount off the full registration amount via the CCR/Young Professionals Forum website. A discount code will be emailed to all current IIC student and early career members.

IIC Scholarships

IIC are supporting 10 scholarships to participate in the online programme this year with preference for IIC members covering registration fees only. IIC are particularly keen to support individuals in priority regions and emerging economies especially Latin America and Caribbean, Africa and South East Asia. This reflects IIC's commitment to making opportunities for learning and professional development more widely available, and affordable, across every region of the world.

The IIC sponsored places will be open to students engaged in a university or learning programme for conservation, as well as early career practicing conservators currently engaged in either a public or a private capacity.

Applicants who have registered and paid for a full place on the course are not eligible to apply for an IIC Scholarship.

Deadline for Applications: 26 April 2023

All eligible applicants are subject to final review by the IIC in consultation with CCR and the Young Professionals Forum prior to the award notification being confirmed with successful applicants. A joint certificate of participation will be issued to all successful IIC Scholars on the programme.
