Lynn Campbell, paper conservator with work experience at the Royal Scottish Museum in Edinburgh and the Getty Conservation Institute, and founder and Head of the Canterbury Disaster Salvage Team in New Zealand, will be speaking about disaster planning and the importance of preparation and awareness of possible threats to cultural heritage at the 2021 NSK virtual conference “Solidarity in culture: Heritage protection under conditions of crisis”.

Conference partners are the Croatian State Archives (Hrvatski državni arhiv (HDA)), Croatian group of the International Institute for Conservation (IIC - Hrvatska grupa / IIC - Croatian Group), Croatian National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Croatia), Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb (Etnografski muzej, Zagreb), Radiation Chemistry and Dosimetry Laboratory of the Ruđer Bošković Institute (Institut Ruđer Bošković), Art and Restoration Department of the University of Dubrovnik (Sveučilište u Dubrovniku) and the Office of emergency management of the City of Zagreb (Ured za upravljanje u hitnim situacijama), while the media sponsors are the "Večernji list" daily and "Zaštita" journal (Časopis Zaštita).
