It shows a year of progress in areas such as climate action and sustainability, with our Joint Commitment for Climate Action with ICCROM and ICOM-CC. We also worked collaboratively with other conservation and culture sector organisations – extending our relationships with Regional Groups. IIC continued to spread good practice, including through our major journal Studies in Conservation and sector magazine News in Conservation.
We created a new ‘pathway to Fellowship’ initiative and through our Student and Emerging Conservator conferences and events programme with Socratic Dialogues and Virtual Study groups – we were able to offer connection to conservators across 79 countries, extending our membership geographically, and offering opportunities and support to all members of IIC.
