IIC 2020 Congress - Update: For Authors of Provisionally Accepted Oral presentations

We now request a  text of your work which can between 2000-3000 words, and should be illustrated by as many as 5 images.
For Authors of Provisionally Accepted posters
A comprehensive Short Communication will be published in the Special Issue of <em>Studies in Conservation</em> to reflect the contents of your poster. The Short Communication should be approximately 1000-1500 words, and can be illustrated by as many as 3 images.
DEADLINE for submissions October 6 2019
All submissions should be submitted online via the Studies in Conservation Website (http://www.edmgr.com/sic/default.aspx ) and when submitting you will need to indicate that your paper is part of the 2020 Edinburgh Congress special issue. You should follow the same procedure as you completed when submitting your successful abstract, and when you submit you will need to upload the finalised text and images, together with any copyright clearance as necessary.

  • Short Communication (1500 words)
  • Paper (3000 words)
The final deadline for submitting the text and images of your Short Communication to the Technical Committee for review by the committee is 6 October 2019. The technical committee will review all summaries during October and November, to ensure that they are aligned with the themes of each congress session, and will notify authors of final acceptance of their contribution, or any further changes to content that would be desirable, by the close of November.
The papers will be edited for style, and consistency of terminology, from the beginning of January 2020. Proofs will be sent to authors during March-May 2020, with copyright and permissions forms which must be competed and returned to ensure inclusion in the printed edition.
