The Foundation for Advancement in Conservation’s (FAIC) Collaborative Workshops in Photograph Conservation Committee is seeking a new committee member. The Committee is funded by an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation endowment, and charged with the planning of programs related to photograph conservation and preservation.
Committee members provide input, ideas, and advice regarding program topics, speakers, and content. They are asked to serve a two-year term, which may renew two times for a total of six years tenure on the committee. Committee members are asked to commit to one virtual meeting per month, and may be asked to lead additional projects and act as liaisons for programs. This is not a compensated position.

Criteria for review:
Experience with photographic materials. Interest in training and education, public engagement and outreach, or mentorship. Preference may be given to applicants whose geographic locations, employment type, professional background, or experience diversify the current committee demographics. Applicants are not required to be members of the American Institute for Conservation.
