Archiving 2020 Virtual Conference

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) for Archiving 2020 will now be run as a virtual conference. Join an international community of technical experts, managers, practitioners, and academics from cultural heritage institutions, universities, and commercial enterprises, to explore and discuss the digitization, preservation, and access of 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, and audio-visual materials, including documents, photographs, books, paintings, videos, and born digital works.

Archiving 2020 has been redesigned with live and recorded content to balance the schedule with focused learning including
a technical program, courses, exhibits and more.

Technical Program:
18-21 May, 10:00 – 14:00 EDT
Engage with speakers and participants in real time during talks and break, as well as recorded comment threads.

Short Courses:
7-15 May, 10:00 – 15:00 EDT
10 courses offered; no time conflicts, so you can take them all, live or recorded.
Passport registration options provide additional savings.

Virtual Exhibition
Running throughout the conference

Access to course and technical program recordings until 15 July 2020.
Includes Q&As and discussions to foster community engagement after the conference.
