APACHE PROJECT: Active & intelligent Packaging materials and display cases as a tool for preventive conservation of Cultural Heritage
The second of three public trainings planned as part of the APACHE project will be held on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd of December 2021 at the Fondazione CCR "La Venaria Reale" in Venaria Reale, Turin, Italy.
The program includes a day of theoretical presentations, which will take place at the Fondazione CCR "La Venaria Reale" Auditorium on Thursday, December 2nd from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Due to sanitary restrictions, the capacity of the auditorium is 100 seats. Please note that the presentations will take place on-site and online. Presentations will be in English, with on-site simultaneous translation from English to Italian.
The second day will include practical activities and demonstrations of products developed by APACHE's partners: preventive conservation equipment and decision-making software for the preservation of collections. These workshops will have a capacity of 15 participants each.
Five workshops will take place in parallel throughout the day, each participant having the opportunity to register for three of them from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Please note that the practical activities will take place only on-site.
A closing discussion will complete the training program. Demonstrations and practical activities will be in English, without simultaneous translation.
