Advocating for museums and conservation will be vitally important in 2021. The new administration presents new opportunities for making our voices heard.
The American Alliance for Museums (AAM) and the National Humanities Alliance (NHA) are taking their annual Advocacy Days virtual. The training for advocates will be conducted via Zoom on the first day and appointments with your congressional representatives will take place via an online platform or conference call. You will be able to advocate for museums and conservation without leaving your office, lab, or living room.
Mark these dates in your calendars:
• AAM Museums Advocacy Day on February 22 & 23
• NHA Humanities Advocacy Day on March 9 & 10
Registration for the AAM Museums Advocacy Day closes on January 19. The registration cost is only $25 for AAM members and $50 for non-members. Learn more about AAM Museums Advocacy Day and help us show Congress that conservation and museums are essential.
