Join the Society for Imaging Science and Technology for digiTIPS, a topical meeting series comprised of four monthly sessions focused on achieving excellence in cultural heritage imaging.

The 2022 sessions build on those offered in 2020 and focus on an update to international standards, then the three pillars of the archiving-digitization, access, and preservation-with specific emphasis on "images," "text," and "data."

Each session includes ample time for Q&A, open discussions, and networking with colleagues worldwide.

JAN 27 – SESSION 1-IT'S NOT THAT HARD, BUT IT'S NOT THAT EASY: INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE
This session introduces current standards and dives deeper into relevant updates and new guidelines.

FEB 22 – SESSION 2-ADVANCING THE IMAGE: SCIENTIFIC IMAGING VS. DIGITIZATION

MAR 30 – SESSION 3-UNLOCKING THE TEXT: TOOLS FOR TAKING TEXT BEYOND JUST THE IMAGE

APR 16 – SESSION 4-ENTERING THE METAVERSE: COLLECTIONS DATA
