Every three years, the Baltic restorers meet to share their achievements and experiences in the field of research, restoration and preservation of cultural heritage. Despite the fact that the last few years have been particularly difficult and challenging, the accumulated knowledge and experience has created the necessity and opportunity to assess the consequences of previous restoration and conservation processes, the application of certain materials, as well as whether the work has provided the planned results and ensured the successful preservation of the object.

The Society of Latvian Restorers would like to invite participation in the 13th Baltic States Restorers' Triennial Meeting "Changes. Challenges. Achievements." which will take place in Riga, Latvia, during May 16-19, 2023.

Triennial topics:
• practical restoration/conservation of movable and unmovable cultural heritage
• research of cultural heritage, it’s role and impact to the restoration processes and results
• interdisciplinary cooperation
• evaluation, selection and justification of restoration materials and methods
• digital technologies as an assistant in restoration
• problems and solutions in the education of restorers
• preservation and restoration of contemporary art

Due to the current situation in the world the deadline for submissions has been extended to allow our colleagues to prepare their abstracts. Please send a summary of the report or poster not exceeding 500 words (desirably adding two informative images).
