Join our Fellowship Committee: Invitation for Applications

IIC Fellows have peer recognition, are respected and trusted internationally, and are committed to advancing the profession for the common good - they are at the heart of IIC.

As we approach our 75th anniversary, the Fellowship Committee will play an increasingly important role in helping to strengthen our global community of Fellows by recommending candidates who demonstrate an excellent commitment to the profession, as well as reviewing nominations before they are presented to Council and passed to ballot, and by helping to demystify the process of becoming an IIC Fellow.

Commitment
As part of the Committee, you will work closely with the Chair, Dr David Saunders FIIC, Vice Chair, Beatriz Haspo FIIC and the IIC Office.

Meetings will be held 3 times a year to coincide with nomination deadlines, but it is important to note that some other tasks may need to be undertaken between meetings. Committee members will also be encouraged to participate in one or two Q&A (1.5 hour long) sessions throughout the year to encourage colleagues in their journey to becoming an IIC Fellow.

How to apply
To apply, you will need to complete the nomination form, and submit together with your CV and a statement of interest (500 words max) to the Dropbox here by Sunday 2 February 5.00pm UK Time.

Only IIC Fellows in good standing are able to apply to join the IIC Fellowship Committee.

If you do have any questions regarding the Committee, then please get in touch with Ellie Sweetnam at ellie.sweetnam@iiconservation.org
