Limitations of this index
This index of IIC publications is being built up steadily, but it only lists the more recent articles. The definitive indices are still in separate files that are listed on the 'publications' page. If you don't find what you expect here, try the other indexes, or try the whole site search which is at the top of the main publications page and the home page.
Searching for keywords
Note that common (for us) words like 'conservation' are ignored. Words of less than three letters are also ignored, so 'CCI' will not work. The reason for these restrictions is that a full text search produces many matches for short and common words, which is not usually helpful.
The search will become more versatile with the latest version of the database, due to be installed on our host computer in 2004-5. At present the search often produces quite peculiar results. According to the database producers, this is because their search method works best on large data collections. For the moment you may have to try several alternative words to be sure of not missing relevant articles.
Searching for authors with non-English accented letters
The author search accepts fragments of names, so you can try typing rensen to find Sorensen, Soerensen or Sørensen. Note that the keyword search also finds authors, if the whole word is used.
The digital collection
At present, most articles published since 2000 are available in digital format. Some earlier articles are available. The articles are in pdf. Most are only available to IIC members.
Our aim is to make all IIC publications available on the web site. We are seeking funds for the expensive operation of digitising back numbers.
