IIC Membership |

IIC membership is open to everyone with an interest in conserving the world's heritage: to conservators and restorers, to conservation scientists, architects, educators and students, and to collection managers, curators, art historians and other cultural heritage professionals. Membership enables you to keep abreast of technical advances and to remain in contact with colleagues worldwide through IIC's publications (Studies in Conservation, Reviews in Conservation and News in Conservation), this website with its newsblog, the biennial conferences and the national groups.
The members' part of this website provides an index of all IIC members, and free download of articles from Studies in Conservation and Reviews in Conservation as well as downloadable PDFs of News in Conservation and back numbers of some of the Congress preprints.

Join the IIC
There are four categories of membership:
Student membership is for those enrolled in a full-time programme of education, training or work experience under the supervision of a professional conservator. The student member subscription for the current membership year (to 30 June 2008) is £18 a year.
Individual membership is open to everyone who is interested in conservation. The individual member subscription for the current membership year (to 30 June 2008) is £45 a year.
Institutional membership is intended for museum and galleries, libraries and archives, conservation schools, research institutes and commercial firms. The institutional member subscription for the current membership year (to 30 June 2008) is £150 a year.

Fellows are senior members of the profession who are elected by the existing body of Fellows. The fellows' subscription for the current membership year (to 30 June 2008) is £65 a year. Criteria for fellowship and application form.
Individual members, Fellows and Institutional members receive all IIC journals free of charge. Student members receive Reviews in Conservation and News in Conservation. All members can take advantage of discounts on other publications and reduced registration fees for the biennial IIC congress.
Professional Development Fund
IIC supports conservators who cannot afford the cost of membership through its Professional Development Fund. The fund is maintained through the generous contributions of our members, and allows successful applicants to receive three years' membership of IIC without charge.
