Hayashibara has been using enzymes for the production of novel food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical ingredients, using starch as a starting material. In this trade show we will introduce a new conservation material, a Furunori like polysaccharide, which recently has been produced for the first time by Hayashibara. This new material has the same characteristics and functions as Furunori (aged with wheat starch paste) that is used for Japanese painting conservation.
