The venue and how to get there

In the centre of Vienna, the new campus of the University of Vienna is a superb venue for this IIC Congress. The main presentations will be in the new lecture theatres, the Hörsaalzentrum, with linked rooms hosting other meetings and the trade fair. The campus itself is a fascinating example of the re-use of an historic building complex; the site is the eighteenth-century former General Hospital of Vienna. As a part of the University of Vienna, the Campus site unites more than 15 departments of the Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies and the Faculty of Philological and Cultural Studies.
There are also a number of restaurants, bars and even a supermarket within the campus complex which you can use for individual lunch arrangements. The cost of lunch is NOT included in the conference fee.
